One of the best, most dynamic views of the Grand Prix is this one for the second running, with a twilight view of Monte Carlo in the background. The winner that year was Ren, Dreyfus, driving a Bugatti T35V. The multitalented Falcucci - painter, decorator, illustrator, posterist - began his involvement with auto graphics at Renault but became best known for this Monaco poster designs of the 1930s. This is, in fact, the first real poster for this famed race. The poster for the first event, in 1929, contained only text.
